Okay, so it’s obviously been a while since I last posted. My bad. So let’s get up to speed …

School-wise, everything is going pretty smoothly. I decided to withdraw from my CS 345 class because the due dates for the projects conflicted with three other classes, and I’d rather work on getting my GPA up than suffer through 14 credit hours just to keep the $375 that the University decided to give me.

Another week begins

So Sunday was pretty uneventful - it’s amazing how difficult it is to get up for nine o’clock meetings, despite the fact that I have to get up earlier than that during the week. We had some nice talks from some of the older members of the ward - quite honestly, any talk is great as long as I don’t have to give it.

Ah, Saturday

Thank goodness the weekend finally arrived - this has been a long week, even if it has only been four days.

Today’s football game was somewhat disappointing (particularly the first half), but at least BYU put up a fight for a while.

Our ward held an activity up in Hobble Creek with two other wards - good food, nice cabin; made for a pretty decent watch party. Great people, too.

Happy B-Day Fenton

So first off, Happy 19th to my cousin Fenton. He leaves on a Church mission to Poland next month, so you can imagine how exciting his gifts were. Yea, sweaters!

Switching out of Physics 220 may not be as easy as I first thought, but it is possible, so I’ll try my very best to do so. As long as I can avoid getting stuck with another programming-intensive course, I’ll be happy.

It’s pathetic, but I’m already looking forward to the weekend - and this being a short week. Our ward has an activity planned for Saturday, and the BYU-UCLA game should prove to be pretty intense.

Well, we had a ward FHE over by the stadium tonight - it was actually pretty fun, but unfortunately, not a whole lot of people showed up. Hopefully, things will pick up as school starts and everyone gets settled in. Our FHE group consists of two Mt Vista apartments and two other houses - 25 people according to the books.
