The air in Oklahoma really is a whole lot cleaner. Flying in to Salt Lake, it was startling to see how bad the smoke and smog was. Made me grateful for all of those Oklahoma windstorms.

With the new semester looming on the horizon, my roommates and I have been giving our apartment a thorough cleaning. While our apartment was fairly clean to begin with, there was still a whole lot of junk left over from previous tenants. Once (if) it’s completely clean, we’ll be able to a bit of interior decorating and make the place at least somewhat presentable.

Well, I took the first of my finals today, this one being for MFG 202, The History of Creativity 1500-Present. The test wasn’t too bad because I’d crammed like crazy for it. The tests are basically just a test of memorization and basic comprehension, with essays graded at about the same level at those for AP US History. I’m just looking forward to being done with classes and resuming a normal sleep / social schedule.

In other news, the Obama camp received more support this week as the former Senators Sam Nunn and David Boren joined his ranks. Those who have lived in Oklahoma know of Boren’s incredible reputation - the man has done wonders for the University of Oklahoma and for the state in general.
